Marked Ages

The world

A land that remembers.

Smooth voxels you can dig, raise and break, in one world shared by every player.

The living land

The land is alive. Nobody raised its mountains or set its rivers running; it grew in a pattern of its own. Dig a crater and it closes. Burn a field and it greens. Small scars heal quickly, deep marks like a burned bridge or a broken wall linger for days until someone rebuilds them, and what players build stays until they take it down.

The blight

One thing the land cannot heal is the purple blight. It is no part of the land's own grain, so only players can undo it. It breaks out at old wells, mines and sinkholes and creeps across the fields. In the Wending Vale it rises from the Old Delve Mine.

The Wending Vale

The Wending Vale is the first valley and the home of the Settlers. Here the blight first stirs, and here the closed alpha begins.

Ward-stones

Ward-stones are standing stones copied from the land's own healing. Touch one to unlock it. A big stone marks the respawn point of its area, and the small stones are for travel.

One world

Players share one world, so a field you save or a bridge you build is there for everyone.
